Kaziranga National Park, Assam | Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to the Asian elephant. The park spans an area of 430 square kilometres and offers wildlife viewing opportunities. According to the latest wildlife report for 2020, the park is home to 1,940 elephants. Periyar National Park, Kerala | Located in Kerala, Periyar National Park is best known for its elephants. Bandipur National Park, Karnataka | Bandipur National Park is home to the largest population of elephants in the country. The park is considered to be one of the largest elephant habitats in South Asia. Located in the Charmanjar district of Karnataka, the sanctuary covers about 874 square kilometres of area. Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand | Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park situated in the foothills of Uttarakhand. Famous for its Bengal tigers, the park is also home to a significant number of elephants. It covers an area of 520 sq km of forest and is spread across three districts – Nainital, Almora and Pauri Garhwal.
Manas National Park, Assam | Manas National Park, located in Assam, is one of the most popular wildlife destinations in Northeast India. The park offers excellent opportunities for elephant spotting.
