It is important to note that this The reexamination is coming after the original Uttar Pradesh police constable recruitment exam was cancelled in February due to allegations of a document leak.
Selection tests are expected to be held for more than 60,000 vacant posts. The tests will be held in two shifts on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August. The first shift begins from 10 am to noon, and the second shift will begin from 3 pm to 5 pm. The tests will be conducted at 67 examination centres across the state, and about 5 lakh candidates are expected to appear for each shift, according to a report by YEARS declared. While speaking to the news agency YEARSShivhari Meena, deputy director of Noida, said, “The exam is being conducted at 18 centres across the city. Security teams have been deployed. We are ensuring that registration and screening of candidates is done properly. The traffic warden and his team have been deployed to properly manage traffic…”
Raveena Tyagi, director of the Lucknow central office, said, “CCTV monitoring is being done at all the examination centres. Police arrangements have been made at all major bus stands, railway stations and metro stations. Several waiting areas have been created across the city for the aspirants. Facility of city buses and inter-district buses is in place. Smart City Control and drones are being used for surveillance,” she was quoted as saying. ANI UP.
Moradabad Range Deputy Director General Muniraj G mentioned that the division has been organised into 11 zones and 32 sectors. ID verification and facial recognition will be done using artificial intelligence.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath intervened and ordered the cancellation and a fresh 2024 police recruitment exam to be held within six months, guaranteeing that it would be conducted in a transparent manner.
