Allocation of advisory places for round 2 of TNEA 2024: options for candidates
Candidates who receive seat allocation have three options: accept the seat and opt for promotion, reject the seat and opt for promotion, or forgo the counselling process altogether. It is essential for candidates to confirm their decision to avoid cancellation of seats. The deadline to confirm allocated seats is August 14, by 5:00 p.m. Following this, the provisional seat allocation list for the second round will be released on August 15.

- Visit the official website at tneaonline.org.
- Click on the link for “TNEA Counselling Tentative Allotment Result 2024 for Round 2” on the homepage.
- Please enter your login credentials.
- See the seat assignment list displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the page.
- Please print a copy for future reference.
- Next steps after seat assignments
Candidates who accept the seats allotted to them will be required to download the allotment letter, report to the designated institutes and complete the necessary admission procedures, including payment of fees. This process can be done after the final results of seat allotment are announced, which is expected to happen by August 23. The third round of counselling will commence soon after.
Candidates must present themselves at the assigned universities with the required documents once the allocation of places is confirmed. Payment of the application fee is mandatory.

TNEA 2024 Second Round Counselling Place Allocation Result: Supplementary Counselling Schedule
TNEA 2024 The supplementary advice is scheduled for 6-8 September 2024. This will be followed by SCA advice to SC on 10-11 September.
