New Delhi: Nithya Menon wins Best Actress award The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Friday announced the 70th edition of the National Film Awards. The National Awards, considered the most prestigious film awards in the country, are a great achievement for any filmmaker. This time, these awards have been given to those films which have been granted censor certificate by the Film Censor Board between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022.
Nithya Menon wins Best Actress award Let us tell you that the National Film Awards are given out in various categories including Best Feature Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and other technical categories across the country. Director-actor Rishabh Shetty’s film ‘Kantara’, hailing from the Kannada film industry, won the hearts of fans with its mythology-based story in 2022. Ever since they watched the film, people were considering it as a favourite for the National Awards. Along with this, actor Mammootty, who is counted among the legendary actors of Malayalam cinema, was also considered a strong contender in the ‘Best Actor’ category for his two best films.
