Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2: New cast members join returning stars as filming begins
Percy Jackson and the Olympians has begun filming its second season. The show’s cast attended a Disney D23 event on August 10, where they revealed the names of the new actors who would be joining the series. Percy Jackson and the Olympians‘ next season.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians introduce a new cast
Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Leah Sava Jeffries, Charlie Bushnell and Dior Goodjohn are joined by new cast member Daniel Diemer, who will play Tyson the Cyclops in Season 2.
Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal and Margaret Cho will all guest star on the show. They will play the Gray Sisters, who run a magical taxi service and share an eye and a tooth. Each sister has a unique personality. Bernhard plays Anger, who collects fares and gets impatient waiting for her turn to use the eye. Schaal plays Tempest, who uses the eye to see into the future and taunt the heroes about their personal lives. Cho plays Wasp, the taxi driver who takes the heroes on an extreme adventure at Camp Half-Blood.
During the event, a short teaser for the upcoming season was shown, featuring Percy (Walker Scobell) driving a cart. Check it out:

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 is set to premiere in 2025. The story will reportedly take place a year after the first season, and follows Percy as he returns to Camp Half-Blood. However, things aren’t quite as he expected: his friendship with Annabeth is changing, he discovers he has a Cyclops brother, his friend Grover has gone missing, and the camp is under attack. To sort things out, Percy sets out on a dangerous journey to the Sea of Monsters, where he’ll be confronted with a dark secret.
