The NEET-PG exam is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow, August 11, 2024. NBEMS issued a notification today, August 10, 2024, informing about the standardization process for the preparation of results. In the official notification, NBEMS said that it has “adopted the process presently used by AIIMS-New Delhi for its various examinations conducted in multiple shifts, including INI-CET, in preparation for the result of NEET-PG 2024.”
Let us tell you that to avoid incidents like paper leakage and to make the question paper secure, the board will prepare the question paper on the day of the exam itself. The percentage marks will be the normalization marks of the exam.
What is the normalization process?
NBEMS has chosen the normalization process for NEET PG. This is done because the exam is conducted in two shifts. Under the normalization process, it is estimated in which shift the paper was easy and in which shift the paper was difficult. The marks are decided solely on this basis. Suppose the average score of the students of one shift is 90 out of 100 and the average score of the students of the second shift is 80, then this shows that the paper of the second shift was a little bit more difficult than the paper of the first shift. The scores of the students of both the shifts are decided by the normalization process. Due to which the average score of the students of the second shift increases and the difference between the average score of both the shifts reduces.
