Aamir REVEALS the reason for the production of the film
”During the pandemic, I had a lot of free time and I used to think a lot. I realised that I had 15 more years of active work left… but I didn’t care. I wanted to give back to people whatever I had learnt in the last few years. The industry, society and the country have given me so much,” Hindustan Times quoted the actor as saying.
Aamir on fostering new talent
”I thought I could do one film a year as an actor, but as a producer I can produce many more films. I want to give a platform to new talent. I can give a platform to new writers, directors and everyone involved in the process. Laapataa Ladies is the first project in that regard. I want to promote this kind of talent and hopefully I can produce four to five films a year. I want to be the shoulder of talent,” the actor added.
