Kajari Teej 2024:Kajari Teej, also called Badi Teej or Hariyali Teej, is celebrated by women particularly in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. It is celebrated on the third day of the month Bhadrapada in the Hindu calendar, which this year falls on August 22. For the prosperity and well-being of their husbands, married women fast, put on their best clothes, apply mehendi and worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. In an effort to find a suitable husband, unmarried women also participate, and all women present shringaar gifts to Goddess Parvati in return for her blessings.
