Infosys Foundation USA, a nonprofit organization that aims to bridge the digital skills gap, has announced the launch of the Technology Innovation Lab at Discovery Place Science in Charlotte, North Carolina.
According to the company’s statement, the lab serves as a space for deep learning and exploration through Infosys Springboard’s next-generation digital learning platform offering of over 11,000 free courses.
What is Infosys Springboard?
Information systems Springboard offers the latest in technology trends and professional skills along with virtual labs, secure assessments, social learning features, gamification and learning analytics, making the tool a crucial next-generation learning platform.
Students have access to a wealth of learning content including free courses on GenAI and emerging technologies, as well as an extensive library of educational tools for teaching computer science and maker education.
By creating individual accounts, students can have a unique and personalized experience of curated learning paths, certificates, and collaborative features.
Infosys Springboard is expanding its reach to students as part of Infosys ESG Vision 2030. It aims to reach 10 million students globally by 2025.
Introducing the GenAI avatar
GenAI-led immersive experiences, originally developed at Infosys Living Labs, are designed to amplify the human potential of students and visitors to space.
The Technology Innovation Lab features a GenAI Avatar, which listens and answers questions in real-time, and a GenAI-powered story generation wall called TogetherTales so students, adults, and families can design custom AI-generated creations.
