– The flag must not be torn, it must be clean.
– The flag must not be tilted / no one’s salute must be tilted.
– No other flag may be flown on a par with or higher than the Tricolour/National Flag and furthermore no garland of flowers or any other object including any symbol made from them may be placed on the National Flag when hoisting the Flag.
– The tricolour shall not be used as decoration on a plate or in any other manner in any ceremony or festival etc.
– The National Flag (Tricolor) cannot remain down (on the ground) either on land or in water. They must not touch the flag while the tricolor is being raised.
– A mast or flagpole on which the tricolor flag is hoisted, no other flag must be hoisted on it.
– The national flag (tricolor) of the country will not be used on any clothing worn below the waist.
