The hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd. The new property is scheduled to open in FY2030, expanding Lemon Tree’s presence in Gujarat and strengthening its portfolio in wildlife and nature destinations.
“We would like to inform you that the company has signed a license agreement for Lemon Tree Hotel, Gir, Gujarat. The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited and is expected to open in FY2030,” according to a filing with the stock exchange.

Gujarat is home to Gir National Park, which is famous for being the last natural habitat of the critically endangered Asiatic lion subspecies. The park’s diverse ecosystem includes dense forests, grasslands and water bodies, providing a suitable environment for various wildlife species.
The Lemon Tree Hotel, Gir, Gujarat will feature 80 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool and a spa. Rajkot Airport is about 167 km from the property. Junagadh Railway Station is 60 km while Somnath Railway Station is 34 km.

Shares of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd closed at ₹132.80, down ₹1.60, or 1.19%, on the BSE.
