Gurgaon-based women tech startup Laiqa Wellness has raised Rs 15 crore in seed investment funds round from IvyCap Companies.
“This funding is a testament to our vision of creating a future where women have access to the best tools and care to prioritize their health,” said co-founders Monica Bindra, Harmeet Bindra and Meenakshi Singh.
“We are grateful to IvyCap Ventures for believing in our mission. With their support, we aim to expand our reach, grow our community and continue to innovate with sustainable products and services that truly make a difference in the lives of women,” they added.
What does Laiqa do?
Founded in August last year, Laiqa Wellness offers a unique approach to women’s wellness. The startup targets hormonal imbalances through personalized, cycle-synchronized care.
It addresses a wide range of conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, insulin resistance, sleep disorders, and other lifestyle-related issues.
Purpose of fundraising
The startup plans to use the capital raised to expand and develop its innovative technology-based solutions.
These solutions focus on personalized hormonal health monitoring, point-of-care assessments, and AI-driven recommendations that integrate modern science with traditional Ayurveda.
Using advanced AI and ML algorithms
Laiqa offers the MyLAIQA app, which employs advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. The app’s proprietary algorithm objectively scores health parameters and delivers actionable insights synchronized with your cycle.
These insights help users manage hormonal fluctuations to improve productivity, energy levels and overall well-being.
The app also suggests lifestyle adjustments, Ayurveda-based diet and exercise plans, and herbal supplements, all tailored to each woman’s menstrual cycle.
“We are delighted to support Laiqa in their mission to transform women’s wellbeing. Their unique approach, combining modern science with Ayurveda, sets them apart in the market. Laiqa’s commitment to empowering women aligns perfectly with our investment philosophy,” said Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner, IvyCap Ventures.
