Rajendra Kumar, known as the “Jubilee Kumar” for his hit songs, has worked with Saira Banu in several hit films. They have been seen together in films like Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Jhook Gaya Aasman Among others. But according to many media reports, Saira once fell in love with Rajendra Kumar. The married actor and father of two even reciprocated her feelings. Apparently, the two loved each other so much that the actor was ready to leave his entire family for Saira. Their frequent appearances at public events also fueled the rumours of their romance.
Saira Banu’s unique demand
Saira Banu’s mother Naseem Banu was known to be very upset about this and asked actor Dilip Kumar to talk to Saira as her daughter was a huge fan of the actor and had decided to marry him after seeing him for the first time. However, when Dilip Kumar went to convince Saira not to pursue Rajendra Kumar, she apparently put a big condition on him – that he had to marry her if they wanted her to stop seeing Rajendra Kumar. As it turned out, Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar got married in 1966.
