DU UG Admission 2024: University of Delhi has released a mock ranking list of students seeking admission to undergraduate programs offered in the 2024-25 academic year. The list indicates the tentative placements of students in courses and colleges based on their CUET (UG) scores and preferences completed during Phase I of the Common Seating Allocation System (CSAS).
Delhi University said candidates can check their mock rank on its admission panel. Aspiring students should note that the released list is NOT THE FINAL LIST. DU officials told the news agency that the mock rank list is designed to help students assess the likelihood of getting allotted to a particular programme.
The university also said that users can change, add or delete their preferences in the CSAS Portal It is important to note that the University of Delhi is planning to release the first list for allotment of seats on Friday, August 16, 2024.
DU UG Admission 2024: Exams for performance-based courses on August 12
The notification also stated that examinations for performance-based programmes (BA (H) Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts, B.Sc. Physical Education, Health Education and Sports, B.Sc. (PE, HE&S)), extracurricular activities and sports supernumerary quotas will commence from Monday (August 12).
Allocations to performance-based programs, ECAs and sports quotas will begin with the third round of allocations.
DU UG Admission 2024: Supernumerary Quotas
Allocations to supernumerary quotas of CW, ECA, Sports, PMSSS, Sikkim Nominee and the share DU neighborhood This will be done with the third round of allocation, the dates of which will be announced later.
Allotments of supernumerary seats of CW, ECA, Sports, PMSSS, Sikkim Nominee and Delhi Ward University quota will be made in the third round of allotments. The schedule for the third round of allotments will be announced later.
It is to be noted that over 2.4 lakh applicants have registered for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25.
The University of Delhi offers admission to over 71,000 seats in over 65 colleges through the Common University Entrance Examination (CUET UG).
The third phase of the admission process The admission process will begin on August 16 and will deal with seat allotment and admissions based on candidates’ preferences for university courses. Candidates can accept their seats by August 18. Universities will verify and approve the students’ admissions by August 20. The last date for online payment of fee for the first round of admission is August 21 (4:59 PM).
