In the mentioned period, around 14 mutual funds from the pharma and healthcare sector were present. WOC Pharma and Healthcare Fund offered the highest return of around 9.37% followed by UTI Healthcare Fund which returned 7.08% in the same period. Quant Healthcare Fund offered the lowest return of 5% in a similar time period.
In the said period, nine technology-based mutual funds have been registered. Of these nine funds, Kotak Technology Fund gave the highest return of around 6.79%. Quant Teck Fund gave the lowest return of around 1.05% in August.

Around 15 consumer sector Equity-based mutual funds have been there during the mentioned period. The Kotak Consumption Fund, the best in the category, gave a return of 5.13% in August. The Quant Consumption Fund gave a negative return of around 1.44% in the mentioned period.
International funds gave an average return of 2.77% in August. There were around 66 international funds in the said period. PGIM India Global Equity Opportunities Fund gave the highest return of around 7.31% in August, followed by Mahindra Manulife Asia Pacific REITs FOF which gave 7.28% in the same period. Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ETF FoF was the biggest loser of around 2.88% in the said period. small cap funds In August, Bandhan Small Cap Fund had an average return of around 2.33%. Bandhan Small Cap Fund had the highest return of around 6.52% in the same period, followed by Motilal Oswal Small Cap Fund which had a return of 5.29%. Tax savings funds or ELSS gave an average return of around 1.55% in August. Out of 39 ELSS FundsMotilal Oswal ELSS Tax Savings Fund returned the highest at 4.93% over the similar period. Quant ELSS Tax Savings Fund lost the most at 1.92% over the same period.
Three categories of sector funds posted negative returns in August. Infrastructure funds, energy and power funds and multinational company funds lost around 1.07%, 0.50% and 0.25% respectively in August.
