LiaPlus AI, an AI-powered customer service automation platform, has raised Rs 20 crore in seed funding funds round led by Turning Point Venturesa Gurugram-based angel investment firm.
The round also saw participation from Chandigarh Angel Network, Growth Sense and Growth91.
The startup plans to use the capital raised to expand its team, forge global partnerships and advance its technology.
What does LiaPlus do?
Founded by Smridhi Seth (COO) and Shailesh Jaiswal (CEO), LiaPlus offers AI Employees – AI customer support agents who offer 24/7 support in 18 different languages including English, Hindi, and Arabic.
The startup said the AI assistant not only performs customer interactions but also takes post-call actions such as sending emails and WhatsApp messages, allowing businesses to focus on strategic decision-making and networking.
The AI assistant integrates seamlessly with over 6,000 apps and provides an intuitive and easy-to-use control panel.

Who are the founders?
Shailesh Jaiswal is a Masters postgraduate specializing in Organizational Behavior from the University of Delhi.
As an Indian entrepreneur and AI researcher, he has gained extensive consulting experience with multinational corporations, focusing on rapid engineering and automation of customer service and sales processes.
Smridhi Seth is also a postgraduate from Delhi University with over five years of experience in data science, R&D and behavioural analytics.
He has worked with clients in healthcare, hospitality, and technology sectors to drive AI-powered growth and innovation.

The AI software and services market, currently valued at around $100 billion, is expected to grow to $300-320 billion over the same period.
Conversational AI is also booming: the global market is projected to reach $13.9 billion by 2025, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.9%. The global intelligent virtual assistant market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 47.5%, reaching $47.3 billion by 2027.
The chatbot and intelligent virtual assistant sector shows strong potential, with a total addressable market (TAM) of $14 billion, a usable available market (SAM) of $800 million, and a usable obtainable market (SOM) of $120 million.
